Op 29.09.2012 organiseert The Rock Temple Kerkrade een Status Quo Fan Meeting met als hoogtepunt de optredens van JOHN COGHLAN'S QUO en de nederlandse Tributeband Quotation. Deze dag beginnen we al relatief vroeg met alles, om 14.00 uur zullen zich de deuren tot The Rock Temple openen en het programma begint om 16.00uur. Op 15 december 2012 zal de Nederlandse blues-rock gitarist JULIAN SAS voor de tweede keer The Rock Temple in Kerkrade bezoeken voor een optreden. De in Beneden Leeuwen geboren gitarist, leider van de Julian Sas Band, wordt o.a. geinspireerd door Amerikaanse gitaarhelden als Johnny Winter, Walter Trout en Jimi Hendrix en bluesgiganten John Lee Hooker, Freddie King en Willie Dixon. Fans van de betere Blues-rock en natuurlijk JULIAN SAS, mogen die concert in december dus niet missen. Meer informatie vind je door op de concertdatum te klikken.
Afgelopen zaterdag was de finale voor bands die zich hadden opgegeven om kans te maken om het PCL FESTIVAL te mogen openen op The Rock Temple Stage. Van de 6 finalisten werd de Duitse band NO FEAR THE ENEMY verkozen als winnaar. De uit Aken e.o. afkomstige band zal op zaterdag 23 juni het Festival openen en wel van 13.00 - 13.30. Nog beperkt aantal tickets voor Afterparty Priest:
Voor de Afterparty (Vanderbuyst Live On Stage) in The Rock Temple na afloop van het Judas Priest concert in De Rodahal, zijn nog een beperkt aantal tickets te verkrijgen. Tickets kunnen nog aangeschaft worden t/m Dinsdag 22 Mei a.s. Daarna zal de verkoop worden stopgezet. Er zijn dus GEEN tickets verkrijgbaar meer aan de avondkassa bij zowel De Rodahal als The Rock Temple voor dit evenement.
De band BONFIRE brengt op 4 mei 2012 hun nieuwe Ep Cry 4 Help (LZRecords/Sony Music) uit. €1,- per verkochte Ep wordt aan de dierenbescherming PETA gespendeerd. Bij Bonfire wordt dierenbescherming groot geschreven. Op Zaterdag 2 Juni is de Nederlandse Releaseparty van deze Ep in The Rock Temple.Er zullen een aantal Goodies worden verloot tijdens deze party en de entree is GRATIS. On 21st October 2012, The Rock Temple Kerkrade presents the in 1974 founded American Hardrockband Y&T. For the second time the San Francisco Bay Area Rockers will be visiting us for a gig. Unfortunatley without Phil Kennemore, who died much too young last year. His succesor Brad Lang has the difficult task to prolong the level of Phil's heritage. Eternal Rock presents on 11.07.2012 in the concertgebouw De Vereeniging in Nijmegen a concert of the legendary Deep Purple and Rainbow Guitarist RITCHIE BLACKMORE and his current band BLACKMORE'S NIGHT. The Rock Temple Kerkrade organizes two after parties. One after the JUDAS PRIEST concert on May 24 2012 and the second one after the MEGADETH concert on June 14 2012. On the JUDAS PRIEST after party, VANDERBUYST, one of the supportbands that night, will perform for a second time for us. At the MEGADETH after party, the popular Belgium band BLIKSEM will take care of the musical entertainment.
